Ishtar City is the fourth Gym city, themed on ancient Egypt, slogan "The star dancing in the wilderness." It hosts the Water-type Ishtar Gym led by Queen Nuphar (Tidal Badge). When the player arrives, a talking Gengar X has brainwashed nearly the entire population into bringing it the city's food supply.
